The company commenced business in October 2021 as an agro logistics, trading and value aggregator under the name of Odyssey Pearl Limited.  It’s core engagement then was transportation and support to the producers, farmers and oil palm cooperatives in the hinterlands of the country, especially in the southern part of Nigeria.  Over time, the business grew into more diverse interest with the acquisition of oil farm farmland and export trade to international markets.  Hence it was deemed necessary to separate and reposition the core agricultural business from the logistics business.  This gave birth to Teresa Palm Oil Limited, which is now focused on palm plantation, production of oil palm and its associated products, export trade, refining, and nursery/sprout research.  Teresa Palm Oil is now positioned to expand its farm, acquire and deepen its footprint, and integrate fractionation of palm olein and consumer cooking oil production into its core business in addition the manufacturer of fatty acids from palm kernel oil for associated use in the cosmetics and beauty industry.  It also produces Palm kernel cake for the poultry industry and for the production of feeds in other types of animal husbandry.  Its long-term vision is to be the oil palm company of choice in the agro sector, contributing to the revenue generating capacity of the country through export, and also creating value for Nigerian households through the creation of employment, manufacturing healthy home use products, while also leading at the forefront of oil palm research.
